#IWantToWinAMakeover Contest Winners / by Ricky Dorn

A couple of months ago I teamed up with my good friend, Heidi Marie Garret, to give away a makeover and photoshoot. We asked our friends on Instagram to share their personal stories with us. Heidi and I read every story that came in. It was very difficult to pick one winner. With that being said, we decided to choose two winners. (To everyone who shared their story, we greatly appreciate it.)

Hannah

A brief story about our winner: Hannah. Hannah is a single mother, striving to better her life for her and her son. She works full time as a hostess at a restaurant in Corona. She is a college student working toward her second degree to become a graphic designer. Never having much time for herself, Heidi and I wanted to give Hannah a little "me" time. Here are some of the beautiful photos I captured of Hannah.

Debbi     Debbi has a great story and testimony I feel a lot of young women can relate to. In the past she was always dolled up, wearing sexy clothes with high heels. One day she realized she didn’t want to define herself in that way. She started to build a relationship with Jesus Christ and shed her old desires for new ones. Her mission is to show women you can dress modest and be beautiful. Heidi Says, “You May notice that her hair is covered. She took purity to the next level and has such a cool testimony that I just know will allow her to reach out to women and change lives.”

I began to realize my self worth was NOT by the sexy clothes I wore, or how “sexy” I could dance at the club.
